Bellowhead play Cambridge Corn Exchange in Cambridge on 19 November 2026 at 19:00. Bellowhead is an English contemporary folk band, active from 2004 to 2016 and reformed in 2020. The eleven-piece act played traditional dance tunes, folk songs and shanties.
The band included percussion and a four-piece brass section, and its members played more than 20 instruments between them while all performers sang. The band formed when Spiers and Boden, stuck in a traffic jam on tour, began thinking of friends to invite to join them.
Their first full-length album, Burlesque, came out in 2006. After a reunion concert in 2020, they toured in 2022 and again in November 2024 to mark 20 years since the band formed.
