Keller & The Keels at Tipitina's

Keller & The Keels brings Keller Williams' Appalachian Psychedelic Bluegrass project to Tipitina's. The trio—Williams, flatpicker Larry Keel, and bassist Jenny Keel—has recorded three albums together: Grass, Thief, and Speed. The group intentionally plays only a handful of shows each year, making each appearance a high-energy acoustic picking party.

Williams is celebrated for his live-looping style, building layers of acoustic guitar, bass, guitar synth, and drum samples on the fly. His music crosses rock, jazz, funk, and bluegrass, a blend he jokingly calls 'acoustic dance music.' At this stop, fans can also pick up Grass on vinyl for the first time, a special treat for longtime listeners.
