Leonid & Friends at Rialto Theatre

Leonid & Friends is a Moscow-born tribute band that has gained international acclaim for its faithful yet energetic renditions of Chicago's greatest hits. Founded by multi-instrumentalist Leonid Vorobyev, the group started as a YouTube project in 2014 and quickly went viral, amassing millions of views. Their performances replicate the classic Chicago sound with a full horn section, keyboardists, and vocalists, often expanding their repertoire to include covers of Earth, Wind & Fire, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Steely Dan.

Since their first U.S. tour in 2019, Leonid & Friends have played sold-out shows across the country, occasionally joined by original Chicago drummer Danny Seraphine. Their concerts feature a rotating cast of musicians from Russia, Ukraine, and beyond.

Attendees at the Rialto Theatre can expect a setlist drawn from the band's four studio albums, including the Chicagovich series, as well as covers of other classic rock bands. The group typically performs with about 11 musicians, delivering a full horn-driven sound.
