Charley Crockett
Charley Crockett, born Matthew Charles Crockett in San Benito, Texas, is an American singer-songwriter raised by a single mother in Los Fresnos. He taught himself guitar on a pawn-shop instrument as a teenager and began busking in New Orleans and Dallas before taking his street performing to New York City and Europe.

О Charley Crockett
His music blends neotraditional country with blues, southern soul, and Americana, delivered in a distinctive Texan drawl. His albums include the 2015 debut A Stolen Jewel, Welcome to Hard Times (2020), the Billboard 200-charting concept album The Man from Waco (2022), $10 Cowboy (2024), and Dollar a Day (2025).
Crockett was named Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2021 Americana Music Honors and won Musician of the Year and Best Country at the 2022 Austin Music Awards. In 2026 he won the Grammy Award for Best Regional Roots Music Album.
Known for a heavy touring schedule, Crockett has performed at venues ranging from House of Blues locations to the Ryman Auditorium, playing well over a hundred shows a year during peak periods.
