О Daniel Donato
Billed by Rolling Stone as "Nashville's Newest Guitar Hero," Donato performs what he calls Cosmic Country, a style that blends honky-tonk and outlaw country with jam-band improvisation. He fronts Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country, a lineup formed around 2021 with bassist Will McGee, keyboardist and guitarist Nathan Aronowitz and drummer Will Clark.
His studio releases include the Starlight EP (2019), A Young Man's Country (2020), Cosmic Country & Western Songs (2021), Reflector (2023) — which spent 29 weeks on the Americana chart — and Horizons (2025).
The band tours relentlessly, playing more than 150 shows a year with sets that regularly stretch past three hours and lean on extended improvisation in the tradition of the Grateful Dead and Phish.
