Ding Dong Community in Central Texas

Ding Dong is an unincorporated community in Central Texas, located along the Lampasas River. It gained its unusual name from a country store sign featuring two bells, created by artist C.C. Hoover in the early 1930s. The community has been noted on lists of unusual place names and has a population of 22 as of 2000.
