Edguy live at Fulda Domplatz, 25 June 2027

Edguy play a concert at Fulda Domplatz in Fulda on Friday, 25 June 2027, at 20:00. Tickets are sold out. The band was founded in Fulda in February 1992 by four school students: Tobias Sammet, Jens Ludwig, Dirk Sauer and drummer Dominik Storch.

They took the band's name from the nickname of their physics teacher. Edguy have not played live since 2017, because Tobias Sammet has focused on his second project, Avantasia.

The band has decided to go on a farewell tour. Sammet announced the Fulda show in June 2026 as the band's first live performance in a decade, calling it the band's "final chapter".
