SCIENTIST at Village Underground, London, 25 February 2027

SCIENTIST plays Village Underground in London on 25 February 2027, 19:00. The Jamaican producer performs his 1981 dub reggae album 'Scientists Rids The World Of The Evil Curse of The Vampires' in full, live, along with more material. Tickets start at GBP 31.75.

Scientist is a protégé of King Tubby and helped pioneer the dub genre in the late 1970's at Studio One, gaining a reputation for his distinctive mixing style. He later became the principal engineer at Channel One, where he released a series of albums in the early 1980's, including Scientist meets the Space Invaders, Scientific Dub, Scientists wins the World Cup, Scientist Encounters Pac-Man, Scientist and Jammy Strike Back and Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires.

Five songs from that last album were used as playlist songs on the K-Jah radio station in the 2001 video game Grand Theft Auto 3. The show is an AGMP Concerts presentation.
