The Australian Pink Floyd at O2 City Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne

The Australian Pink Floyd play O2 City Hall in Newcastle upon Tyne on 6 November 2026, 18:30. Tickets start from GBP 40.45. The Australian Pink Floyd are a Pink Floyd tribute act formed in 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia.

Their live shows aim to recreate the look, feel and sound of Pink Floyd's later world tours, using lasers, inflatables and a large display panel similar to those used by the original band. The show includes a round screen with intelligent lights arranged around its perimeter, and movies and animations are displayed on-screen during a concert.

Inflatables are frequently used, including a pig used by Pink Floyd on the Division Bell Tour and Skippy, the band's own giant pink kangaroo. In 1996 the band performed at David Gilmour's 50th birthday party.
