Emo Night Karaoke puts a live band behind the mic instead of backing tracks. Members of Just Surrender, Freshman 15, Weatherbox, Big D and the Kids Table, and Jet Lag Gemini play the songs while audience members take lead vocals. The setlist draws from a catalog of 100+ pop punk and emo tracks, with full concert production and visuals to make every singer feel like the headliner.
Sign-ups are first come, first served at each show. TVs around the stage scroll the lyrics, and the band adds backup vocals to help singers find their footing. It adds up to an energetic, nostalgic night where the crowd is part of the show.
