Sharada Shashidhar with Omari Jazz

Sharada Shashidhar brings her beat-oriented spiritual jazz to Jack London Revue in Portland. A Los Angeles–based vocalist, composer, and producer, she draws on jazz and Indian classical music, building elaborate harmonies over rhythm-forward production. Her latest album, A Foot on the Ground, is out now on Colorfield Records.

Opening the night is Portland-based composer, producer, and visual artist Omari Jazz, known for the immersive beat tape Dream Child and the duo record Black Decelerant with Contour. Together, the two artists offer an evening of soulful, deep-listening jazz in the club's intimate setting.
