Mark Thomas
Mark Thomas was born on 11 April 1963 in south London. He first gained attention as a guest performer on BBC Radio 1's The Mary Whitehouse Experience in 1989, before establishing himself as a stand-up comedian and political satirist who blends comedy with investigative journalism.

He is best known for Channel 4's The Mark Thomas Comedy Product, which ran from 1996 to 2002 and combined comic stunts with exposes of corporate and political misconduct. His work has often focused on the arms trade, human rights and workers' rights, including the touring show Extreme Rambling, about walking Israel's separation barrier, and the book Belching Out the Devil, about Coca-Cola's business practices. He describes himself as a libertarian anarchist.
