The Nutcracker - Ballet and Orchestra is a classical ballet performance at Théâtre Royal in Mons on 20 January 2027, 20:00. The production is performed by the Paris Ballet Theater and is on tour during the 2026 to 2027 season. It is set to Tchaikovsky's music and Petipa's libretto, and is based on Ivanov's choreography.

The story draws on E.T.A. Hoffmann's tale and follows young Clara, who is given a nutcracker shaped like a little man as a Christmas gift. On Christmas Eve the toy comes to life and leads her through a battle against mice, a transformation into a prince, and a journey through a fairy-tale kingdom where flowers and snowflakes dance.

The two-act ballet premiered in December 1892 at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. The performance lasts 2h10, including an intermission. Tickets start at €48.
