Pete Roth Trio Feat. Bill Bruford

The Pete Roth Trio is a British guitar-jazz group with guitarist Pete Roth, bassist Mike Pratt and drummer Bill Bruford, formerly of Yes and King Crimson. Bruford came out of a 13-year retirement to form the band after approaching Roth, who had been his student and later a drum tech and road manager for Earthworks. The trio started acoustic, then moved to electric guitar and bass, and has since taken its music to audiences across Europe and Japan.

Their sets draw on familiar jazz material, including 'Billie's Bounce', 'Summertime' and an interpretation of Dvořák's 'New World Symphony'. With Bruford's progressive-rock background and Roth's long connection to him, this is an intimate, seasoned trio performance.
