Amina Edris & Pene Pati in Paris

Born in Samoa and raised in New Zealand, tenor Pene Pati has emerged as one of the most prominent young opera artists on the international stage. His voice, often compared to that of Luciano Pavarotti, has earned him acclaim in both French opera and Italian bel canto. After early success as part of the trio Sol3 Mio, whose debut album became the best-selling recording in New Zealand in 2014 and 2015, Pati transitioned to solo opera roles. He made his operatic debut in 2017 as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto and has since performed at major houses including the Paris Opera, Vienna State Opera, and Royal Opera House.

Pati is a Warner Classics recording artist, with three albums to his name, including his self-titled debut praised by critics upon its release in March 2022. For this Paris concert, he is joined by soprano Amina Edris. The evening promises a program of operatic favorites, showcasing Pati's lyric tenor and the duo's artistry in an intimate setting.
