Age Against the Machine: Goodie Mob Reunion Album

Age Against the Machine is the fifth studio album by Atlanta-based hip hop group Goodie Mob, released on August 27, 2013. The album features guest appearances from T.I., Big Rube, Janelle Monáe, and others, and was supported by the single "Special Education" featuring Janelle Monáe.

The album received generally positive reviews from music critics, debuting at number 30 on the Billboard 200 chart with 13,000 copies sold in its first week. The reunion marked the group's first album since 1999, with recording taking place in Jamaica during winter 2012.

Tracks like "White Power" offer a black perspective on white power, while "Pinstripes" with T.I. references the group's 1995 single "Cell Therapy." "Special Education" highlights segregation and discrimination, and "Amy" deals with Cee Lo's first love affair with a white woman.
