The Stylistics play Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent on 26 November 2026 at 19:30. They are an American Philadelphia soul group, formed in 1968, and had their greatest chart success in the 1970s. All of their U.S.
hits were ballads marked by the falsetto of Russell Thompkins Jr. and the production of Thom Bell. In the early 1970s they had twelve consecutive R&B top ten hits, including "Stop, Look, Listen", "You Are Everything" and "Betcha by Golly, Wow".
As their U.S. success waned, their popularity grew in Europe, especially the United Kingdom, where "Can't Give You Anything (But My Love)" reached number 1 in 1975.
