Midland
Midland is an American country music trio formed in 2014 in Dripping Springs, Texas, consisting of Mark Wystrach on lead vocals and guitar, Jess Carson on guitar and vocals, and Cameron Duddy on bass and vocals. The members met in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in 2013 and recorded their first session at Sonic Ranch in El Paso in January 2014.

Über Midland
The band plays neotraditional country, with a sound critics have compared to George Strait's 1980s New Traditionalist style layered with California-style harmonies reminiscent of the Eagles. Midland signed to Big Machine Records in March 2016.
Their debut album, On the Rocks, followed in 2017 and produced the hit single "Drinkin' Problem," alongside "Burn Out," "Make a Little," and "Mr. Lonely" from later releases. Subsequent albums include Let It Roll (2019), The Last Resort: Greetings From (2022), and Barely Blue (2024).
Midland earned two Grammy nominations in 2018 for "Drinkin' Problem" and won the Academy of Country Music Award for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year that same year. Their debut album was certified Gold by the RIAA in 2019.
