Andrea Bocelli
Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor, born in Tuscany in 1958, who lost his sight completely at the age of twelve. He trained as a classical singer while studying law, and rose to wider attention in 1994 after winning the newcomers' section of the Sanremo Music Festival.

About Andrea Bocelli
His 1997 album Romanza became one of the best-selling records of all time, and Sacred Arias, released two years later, is the best-selling classical album by a solo artist. He has recorded fifteen solo studio albums and nine complete operas.
Bocelli moves between opera houses and arena tours, and is known for crossover duets, including Con te partirò with Sarah Brightman and The Prayer with Céline Dion.
