About Cold
Cold broke through with 13 Ways to Bleed on Stage (2000), which included the singles "End of the World" and "No One," before its most commercially successful record, Year of the Spider (2003), debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 and produced the band's only Billboard Hot 100 entry, "Stupid Girl." Later albums A Different Kind of Pain (2005) and Superfiction (2011) also charted on the Billboard 200.
The band disbanded in 2006 before reuniting in 2009, continuing to tour and record around Ward as its sole permanent member through numerous lineup changes over the following decade. Cold released The Things We Can't Stop in 2019, ending an eight-year gap between albums, and has since combined new material with anniversary performances of its earlier, more commercially successful records.
The current lineup pairs Ward with bassist Lindsay Manfredi, drummer Tony Kruszka, and guitarists Ed Cuozzo and Angelo Maruzzelli. Cold remains a frequent live act on the American rock circuit, continuing to tour extensively across the country while working on a planned seventh studio album.
