About Day Fever

Day Fever is a daytime club event held in venues across the United Kingdom and Ireland, running in the afternoon rather than at night.

Day Fever is a daytime club event held in venues across the United Kingdom and Ireland, running in the afternoon rather than at night. It was started by actress Vicky McClure, filmmaker Jonny Owen and the band Reverend & The Makers, beginning as a one-off event at Sheffield's City Hall Ballroom before expanding to other cities.

The format typically runs from mid-afternoon into the evening, with a mix of Northern Soul, disco, indie and 1990s music aimed largely at an audience over 30. Local DJs play at each stop, and the event has drawn tens of thousands of attendees since it began.
