Samuel Robert Barber is an American country, rock, and folk singer-songwriter born April 15, 2003, in Frohna, Missouri. He began writing music at 16 after learning about a great-grandfather's musical background, and started posting songs to TikTok in 2021 while studying civil engineering, gaining an audience through cover performances before launching his recording career.

About Sam Barber
Barber released his debut single, "Run Away High," in September 2021 and auditioned for American Idol's twentieth season, reaching Hollywood Week. His first chart entry, "Straight and Narrow," arrived in November 2022, followed by the debut EP Million Eyes in September 2023 and a Grand Ole Opry debut the same month.
His debut album, Restless Mind, released in November 2024, peaked at number 48 on the Billboard 200, and the single "Indigo," featuring Avery Anna, reached the Billboard Hot 100. A second album, Broken View, followed in April 2026. Several of his songs have earned platinum certifications from the RIAA, ARIA, and Music Canada.
Barber won Breakthrough Country Artist at the 2026 American Music Awards, recording through Lockeland Springs and Atlantic Records.
