About State Champs
Signed to Pure Noise Records, the band's 2013 debut album The Finer Things reached number two on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, and its 2015 follow-up, Around the World and Back, entered the Billboard 200. The band won Best Breakthrough Band at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards and has toured with acts including Fall Out Boy, 5 Seconds of Summer, and A Day to Remember.
Subsequent albums Living Proof (2018) and Kings of the New Age (2022) continued the group's fast-paced, melodic sound, and a self-titled fifth album followed in November 2024, revisiting the band's pop-punk roots with songs about resilience and personal growth. Kerrang! and other outlets have repeatedly praised the band's live shows for their energy and consistency across a decade and a half of touring.
