The Warehouse Project, known as WHP, is a series of club nights and live electronic music events held in Manchester, England. It was founded in 2006 by Sacha Lord and Sam Kandel, both previously involved with Manchester's Sankeys nightclub, and began in the disused Boddingtons Brewery in Strangeways, with an opening night headlined by Public Enemy.

About Warehouse Project

The series has hosted prominent DJs and live acts including Carl Cox, Aphex Twin, Richie Hawtin, The Prodigy, Disclosure and Basement Jaxx, spanning house, techno, trance and electro. Mixmag named it the UK's best club in 2007, and DJ Mag voted it Best Club Series in 2013, later ranking it fourth in its 2025 global Top 100 Clubs list.

After Boddingtons Brewery, the project moved in 2007 to a former air-raid shelter beneath Piccadilly station known as Store Street, its home until 2011. It relocated to Victoria Warehouse in Trafford Park for 2012 and 2013 before returning to Store Street through 2018. Since 2019 it has been based at Depot Mayfield, a converted railway depot holding roughly 15,000 people.

Rather than operating year-round, the project runs a concentrated season each year from September to New Year's Day, plus occasional bank-holiday dates. It expanded internationally in 2023 with events in Rotterdam, and marked its twentieth year in 2026, having grown from a one-off warehouse party into one of Britain's largest recurring club franchises.
