Prague’s international music festival turns the city into a concert stage each spring, mixing orchestral evenings, chamber recitals, solo performances and contemporary music in galleries. The programme has brought the Czech Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Dresden and the Orchestra & Choir of the Age of Enlightenment to Prague, along with conductors such as Daniele Gatti, Václav Luks and Klaus Mäkelä, and soloists including Barbara Hannigan, Truls Mørk and the Bennewitz Quartet.
Beyond the concert hall, the festival reaches into spaces like the Anežský klášter and DOX, with world premieres and a family strand called SpringTEEN.
