2026 - MARTIN KOHLSTEDT at Tollhaus, Karlsruhe, 26 Nov 2026

His music combines electronica with analogue and acoustic elements such as classical piano, ambient, field recordings and score design. He calls his way of working modular composing. His pieces keep moving and follow no fixed form in concert, and improvisation is a necessary part of the work.

Martin Kohlstedt has played concerts in more than 30 countries. He also writes soundtracks for films, theatre plays, podcasts and radio plays, runs his own label Edition Kohlstedt, and lives and works in Weimar.
