Arthur Romanowski - Ubu – nach Alfred Jarry in Frankfurt

The venue, Das Künstler:innenhaus Mousonturm, is located at Waldschmidtstraße 4 in Frankfurt am Main. The tower was originally built in the 1920s as part of the Mouson perfume and soap factory, which produced the famous Creme Mouson. The company moved its production in the early 70s, and all the factory buildings except the tower were demolished.

In 1988 the house opened as a venue and production site for national and international artists from the fields of dance, theatre, performance, music, literature and visual arts. Its repertoire includes dance and theatre programmes, concerts, film screenings, readings, lectures and presentations of art projects, and it also offers accessibility services such as audio description. Events take place not only at the Mousonturm itself but also at other venues in Frankfurt and Offenbach am Main.
