52, 76530 Baden Baden, Deutschland. Circularts invites guests to a musical evening in November as part of the event format BADEN IN KLANG. The focus is a meditative sound journey that combines traditional Indian music with the warm sounds of the handpan and acoustic and electronic soundscapes.

The Indian sitar master Subrata De appears as a special guest; together with Jennifer Pfeifer and Marco Koegel he opens a musical dialogue. Marco Koegel combines handpans, archaic instruments, looper and synthesizer into atmospheric soundscapes. From individual tones, rhythms and electronic sound surfaces, multi-layered sound carpets are created live that change continuously.

Acoustic instruments meet modern live electronics, organic rhythms meet floating sound surfaces. Jennifer Pfeifer adds harmonium, voice, singing bowls and other acoustic instruments to the sound journey. The interplay brings together Indian sitar music, handpan, voice, archaic instruments and atmospheric live electronics.

The music develops from the moment and invites listeners to come to rest, listen consciously and immerse themselves in the different sound layers. For the spatial sound reproduction, Original Mechow® Naturschall-Systeme from Wakanoa are used that evening. The music is thus not perceived from one particular direction but can fill the entire room.
