18, the works of the middle period and the late quartets. Beethoven has been the artistic focus of the Henschel Quartett for more than three decades; Beethoven was on the programme at the ensemble's international debut in 1994 at the Aldeburgh Festival, and in 2002 the first complete cycle followed over six evenings at the Kopenhagener Tivoli. The Los Angeles Times is quoted: "This is, no question, one of the best groups in the world, a great string quartet.

" The Henschel Quartett is quoted: "Niemand erklimmt diesen musikalischen "Mount Everest" allein". The organiser is Freunde des Henschel-Quartetts zur Förderung der Kammermusik, Keuzdornweg 9, 81547 München, Deutschland.
