Catarina oder Von der Schönheit, Faschisten zu töten - Stückeinführung 19:30 Uhr; Nachgespräch mit Prof. Dr. Annett Heft und Dr. Kilian Bühling, IRex 2026

Catarina oder Von der Schönheit, Faschisten zu töten is staged at Zimmertheater im Löwen, Kornhausstraße 5, 72070 Tübingen, on Thursday 19 November 2026 at 20:00. Tickets start at 20,00 €, with a reduction available. The organiser is Zimmertheater Tübingen GmbH, Bursagasse 16, 72070 Tübingen, Deutschland.

The family gathering begins with eating and drinking and ends with the shooting of the previously kidnapped delinquent. When the daughter refuses to continue the ritual, because she no longer believes in the logic of retribution and doubts violence as a legitimate means of defending freedom and democracy, a complex political and ethical confrontation begins within the family. The production is directed by Tobias Schilling, with set and costume design by Birgit Angele, dramaturgy by Dr. Stefan Tigges, and technical direction by Mike Michelius and Alexander Schwab.

The cast is Paul Smollich as Marco, Udo Rau as Rui, Christina Weiser as Isabel, Sophie Maria Scherrieble as Sara, Thomas Bockelmann as Antonio and Malte Flierenbaum as Romeu. The publisher is Henschel Schauspiel.

A post-show discussion follows every performance. On Thursday 19 November, Prof. Annett Heft, Professorin für Rechts-extremismusforschung mit Schwerpunkt Medien und Öffentlichkeiten, Dr. Kilian Bühling, Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, and Mareike Stürenburg, Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin, from the Institut für Rechtsextremismusforschung, Uni Tübingen take part.
