The evening is about the writer, pilot, adventurer and humanist Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Claudia Michelsen combines "Wind, Sand und Sterne" with "Der Kleine Prinz". Saint-Exupéry wrote both stories after he barely survived a plane crash in 1935.

Michelsen brings both voices together: first the pilot who knew what it was to be lost and to be rescued, then the story that grew out of it. The reading deals with friendship, adventure, responsibility and what stays invisible to the eyes. Her voice carries the evening alone, without stage set and without interstitial texts.

Claudia Michelsen was born in Dresden and trained at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin. She received the Grimme-Preis and the Goldene Kamera in 2013 for her role in "Der Turm", and a second Grimme-Preis a year later for "Grenzgang". She is known as investigator Doreen Brasch in the "Polizeiruf 110" and from the "Ku'damm" series, and has read numerous audiobooks.

The Renitenztheater is at Büchsenstraße 26 in Stuttgart. It was founded in 1961 by Gerhard Woyda and has room for 260 guests.
