Duo Stiehler/Lucaciu at E-Werk Clubbühne, Erlangen

The Kulturzentrum E-Werk has been part of Erlangen's cultural scene since 1982 and was formed from the merger of the Jugendclub Sesam and the Jazzclub Pupille, moving into the premises of the former power station. Those premises comprise four event rooms, a cinema and its own gastronomy with a beer garden and open-air stage, with a total capacity of around 2,300 visitors.

Each year the E-Werk receives nearly 250,000 guests, with a programme that includes live concerts, parties, readings, theatre performances and conferences, and around 200 live acts from various genres, international and regional. The venue also opens its rooms for youth culture work initiatives, self-help workshops, advisory services, support for emerging artists and projects for all age groups and target groups.
