EIN ABEND ÜBER PETER SCHMIDT - Erinnerungen in Bild, Musik und Wort 2027

EIN ABEND ÜBER PETER SCHMIDT - Erinnerungen in Bild, Musik und Wort takes place on Thursday 08.07.2027 at 19:00 at Bilder erzählen - Sammlung Peter Schmidt, Stiftung, Braunauerstraße 8a, 84478 Waldkraiburg. The programme includes a film about Peter Schmidt. In the film, made in 2016, Peter Schmidt says at the outset: "Meine Sammlung heißt: Bilder erzählen". The film was made only a few months before his death and recalls the art collector and his dream of making the pictures accessible to a broad public.

Dr. Helmut Hess gives a talk titled "Bilder erzählen – Peter Schmidt und seine Sammlung zur Genremalerei", in which the curator sets out the art-historical features of the collection. Lothar Lägel closes the evening with zither music and memories of joint appearances with Peter Schmidt.

The venue is Bilder erzählen - Sammlung Peter Schmidt, Stiftung, Braunauerstraße 8a, 84478 Waldkraiburg. The seated-area plan is not accessible; the ticketing hotline for booking help is 069 427262 680.
