Ein Sommernachtstraum - Komödie nach William Shakespeare

Theater Phoebus presents Ein Sommernachtstraum - Komödie nach William Shakespeare on Saturday 23.01.2027 at 19:00 at Dominikanerkloster Prenzlau - Kleinkunstsaal, Uckerwiek 813, 17291 Prenzlau. Tickets start at 16,00 €. The organiser is Stadt Prenzlau, Am Steintor 4, 17291 Prenzlau, Deutschland.

The comedy after William Shakespeare features Josi Schönbrodt and Jan Maria Meissner. Two actors slip into a wide range of roles. The fairy king and queen Oberon and Titania are in dispute because of their mutual infidelity.

Oberon devises a sweet revenge plan: the goblin Puck is to bring him the magic flower that was once hit by a arrow and causes love frenzy. When it is stroked over the eyes of a sleeping person, that person falls in love with the next living creature upon waking. With the words "Erwache erst, wenn ein Scheusal in Deiner Nähe ist" he strokes the eyes of the sleeping Titania.
