Frank-Markus Barwasser alias Erwin Pelzig - Wer wir werden. 2026

Frank-Markus Barwasser appears as his alter ego Erwin Pelzig in the stage programme "Wer wir werden". The event takes place on Wednesday 18.11.2026 at 20:00 at the Mainfrankensäle, Mainlände 1, 97209 Würzburg-Veitshöchheim. Tickets start at 28,50 €.

The organiser is Ax.T.-Veranstaltungsorganisation, Mainwiesenweg 46, 63741 Aschaffenburg, Deutschland. In the new stage programme, Erwin Pelzig examines what the widely described "Change Fatigue" does to us: who we become in a time of fundamental change. He looks for another way of dealing with the world, accompanied as always by his two friends Hartmut and Dr. Göbel, which leads him into brain research, into the unexplored expanses of the universe and into the world of thought of stoic philosophers.

Erwin Pelzig is quoted: "Manchmal denkst du vielleicht, du hast nur noch die Wahl, verrückt zu werden oder religiös. Ich habe es probiert. Kann beides nicht empfehlen".

Frank-Markus Barwasser has been on German theatre stages with his artistic figure for over 30 years. " For 3SAT, Barwasser most recently produced the nine-part series "Beim Pelzig auf der Bank".

The Mainfrankensäle is located between the Mainufer and the Rokokogarten in Veitshöchheim. Since 2014, the Mainfrankensäle has been converted. Up to 800 guests at a time can attend the events in the light-flooded, flexible ambience.

The venue's programme ranges from concerts and theatre to Kabarett and Comedy, through to readings and dance performances. Before or after an event, visitors can relax on the Sonnenterrasse, in the restaurant or in the Weinstube.
