The programme is built around four musicians, storytellers and characters, with handmade music. At its centre are the town of Dietenhofen and four protagonists: singer and saxophonist Dr. Simon Schorndanner junior, percussionist Johannes Sens, Maximilian Eder, and guitarist and group leader Ralf Wieland.
The stories revolve around the Dietenhofener Wirtshaus "Zur heiligen Gans". The evening includes anecdotes, acrobatics and a reveal centred on a drill, and the songs and instrumental pieces are part of the action.
