Halbe Treppe - Uraufführung nach dem Film von Andreas Dresen

Halbe Treppe - Uraufführung nach dem Film von Andreas Dresen runs at Theater der Altstadt in Stuttgart on 1 April 2027, 19:30. The play follows two couples who are friends. Uwe works day and night for his own snack stand, and his wife Ellen sells perfume in a perfumery.

Radio presenter Chris greets listeners early in the morning, and his partner Katrin processes trucks on the motorway. Ellen and Chris unexpectedly fall in love with each other. The story is about the unpredictability of life and is billed as absurd, tragic and comic.

Christof Küster directs, and Maria Martinez Peña designs stage and costumes. Tickets start at EUR 29.70, and a discount is available. Theater der Altstadt, at Rotebühlstraße 89, has staged productions since 1958 and has been at its Feuersee venue in western Stuttgart since 1993.
