Heimsuchung at Aula Planetenring in Garbsen, 13 February 2027

Heimsuchung, a play by Theater für Niedersachsen (TfN), takes place at Aula Planetenring in Garbsen on Saturday, 13 February 2027, at 19:00. It is a stage adaptation of the novel by Jenny Erpenbeck, performed by the TfN ensemble. Ulrike Müller directs, and Jan Lehmann designs the stage and costumes.

The story follows 15 residents who live, love and lose in a single house in Brandenburg. Their lives are shaped by upheavals from the German Empire through the Weimar Republic and the GDR to the post-reunification era. Each resident searches for home and happiness, and the fulfilment of that search lasts only for a time before history turns again and turns arrivals into displaced people.

Jenny Erpenbeck won the International Booker Prize. Tickets start at EUR 22, and a discount is available. The venue is at Planetenring 7, 30823 Garbsen.
