Helene Bockhorst - "Lebefrau" - Comedy & Tragedy in Leer

Helene Bockhorst performs her programme "Lebefrau" - Comedy & Tragedy at Zollhaus in Leer on 3 December 2026, 20:00. The new show is an ode to life, in which black humour meets colourful outfits and silliness. She takes on questions such as why a man who enjoys life is a Lebemann while a woman is simply called a Schlampe, whether family traditions should be continued even when they involve depression and unhealthy coping patterns, and what one can do for a better world without too much effort.

She also asks whether she is at least one of the more interesting cases for her therapist. In an open and honest style, she takes the audience on an emotional rollercoaster ride where observations of everyday life sit alongside life-changing experiences. The programme deals with trauma, depression and resilience, and with the idea that a reason to laugh can always be found.

Tickets start at EUR 22, and a discount is available. Zollhaus is at Bahnhofsring 4, 26789 Leer. The building was erected in 1863 for trading activities, and concerts, theatre and comedy shows have been held there since the 1990s.
