As a student at the Manhattan School of Music, then twenty years old, she took second place at the Thelonious Monk Institute's singing competition. Two years later her debut album "Never Never Land" followed. She has released 12 recordings, many nominated for a Grammy.

The band for the evening is Jane Monheit on vocals, Max Haymer on piano, Luca Alemanno on bass and Patryk Dobosz on drums. "
