Kaiserstuhl Percussion - „Just can´t get enough“ essential Depeche Mode on Percussion takes place at E-WERK, Saal in Freiburg on Saturday, 9 January 2027, at 20:00. Tickets start at EUR 27.50, and a discount is available. The ensemble Kaiserstuhl Percussion is led by Friedemann Stert.

For this programme the ensemble creates a series of new arrangements that combine electronic music with the purely acoustic sounds of mallet instruments. The result goes beyond the sound of a straight cover band. The synthesizer sounds are not dropped entirely: their textures and interjections are redefined and fitted to each arrangement.

The programme draws on selected Depeche Mode classics. Stert says he is rediscovering the songs of Martin L. Gore and colleagues 40 years later. The venue is at Eschholzstraße 77, 79106 Freiburg.
