Klang - Stille: Mendelssohn trifft auf Cage - St. Nikolaus, Rosenheim 2026

Klang - Stille: Mendelssohn trifft auf Cage takes place at St. Nikolaus, Ludwigsplatz 3, 83022 Rosenheim, on Saturday 14.11.2026 at 17:00. The concert is a choir and organ evening about the power of sound and the intensity of silence, and it makes contrasts audible. The Philharmonischer Chor Augsburg presents a programme that deliberately plays with listening habits.

Geistliche Werke by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy stand alongside John Cage's work titled 4'33'', a composition that makes silence itself the musical event. Performing are the Philharmonischer Chor Augsburg, Lucia Boiserée (soprano), Martina Hellmann (organ), Christopher Ryser (organ Rosenheim), Peter Bader (organ Augsburg) and Johannes Lamprecht (Leitung).

Tickets start at 23,20 €, and a reduction is available. The organiser is Philharmonischer Chor Augsburg e.V., Am Bierweg 36, 86316 Friedberg, Deutschland.
