Köthener BACH Akademie 2026 - Musik mit Haltung!?

The organiser is the Köthener BachGesellschaft mbH, Theaterstraße 12, 06366 Köthen (Anhalt), Deutschland. The course brings together soloists, ensemble musicians, curators and cultural managers to exchange views on whether and how the music sector can contribute to an open and diverse society, including and especially through music. It asks whether and how the music sector can take a stance, and which dramaturgies and formats are suitable for this, and how these are communicated.

Following impulses from curator Sophie Emilia Beha, dramaturge Ilka Seifert and concert designer Folkert Uhde, participants work together on possibilities for greater visibility of stance in the music sector. Participants are welcome to bring examples and problem statements for planned projects to work on together.
