Kunst - Komödie von Yasmina Reza - mit Jim Phetterplace, Lars Ruth, Anselm Wittenstein 2027

Kunst - Komödie von Yasmina Reza - mit Jim Phetterplace, Lars Ruth, Anselm Wittenstein is a comedy staged at Theater am Park in Bad Nauheim on Friday, 29 January 2027, at 20:00. The play follows three men whose long friendship threatens to collapse after one of them buys a monochrome painting for a huge sum. One friend is enthusiastic about the white monochrome canvas, the second fights it fiercely, and the third refuses to take sides because he does not want to fall out with either.

The painting acts as a catalyst for examining the men, their feelings and their friendship. Yasmina Reza is a French author, and the play premiered in Paris in 1994. It has won several prizes (Molière, Tony Award, Laurence Olivier Award) and has been translated into 40 languages.

This is a production of the "Theater Alte Brücke", Frankfurt, directed by Alexander Beck, with Jim Phetterplace, Lars Ruth and Anselm Wittenstein. The venue is a theatre room in the annex of the building at Ludwigstraße 21, a former dining hall from the Gründerzeit, with space for around 90 spectators. Tickets start at EUR 25.50, and a discount is available.
