The piece follows six people united by the wish and longing for closeness, for a loving, lovable partner. The somewhat unusual route they have chosen to escape their loneliness is a speed-dating. But what happens, what is not planned?

Performing are Giso Weißbach, Michael Kinkel, Petra Blossey, Olaf Schülke, Johanna Wech, Klaus Gendries, Sabine Matthes and Jan Hofmann. Direction is by Klaus Gendries and Bernd Wefelmeyer. It is a production of the Theatergesellschaft e.V.

The Stadttheater Köpenick, formerly Cöpenick, has a long history. In 1889 the first performance of the play "Wie man sich eine Frau verschafft" took place in Köpenick. Many further Volksstücke followed, until the Stadttheater Köpenick lost its venue at the beginning of the 50s.

In 1992 the theatre found a new home in Berlin with the Kunstfabrik Köpenick. Since then the theatre has developed steadily into an address for family theatre with comedies, cabaret, Kleinkunst and puppet theatre.

The members of the theatre association are all active on an honorary basis and receive no institutional funding. Under the current artistic director Bernd Wefelmeyer, the theatre presents a programme for young and old.
