Maggie Reilly's career began in the 1970s with the group Cado Belle, whose music had soul and funk influences. She went on to sing with the Mike Oldfield Group and then built a career as a solo artist, and she has been in the music business for almost 40 years. Her voice is on the hits "Moonlight Shadow", "Family Man", "To France" and "Foreign Affair".

She released her debut solo album Echoes in 1992, which included the singles "Everytime We Touch", "Tears in the Rain" and "Wait". The Orangerie Fulda stands at the edge of the Fuldaer Schlossgarten, in a Baroque building that is almost 300 years old. It belongs to the Hotel Maritim and has a café and restaurant.
