Michael Moravek - 13 MINUTEN - wie Georg Elser beinahe die Welt verändert hätte is a stage piece with songs, performed at Theaterhaus - T3 in Stuttgart on 8 November 2026 at 19:30. Tickets start at EUR 24, and a discount is available. Bernd Wengert and Michael Moravek wrote the play based on the Gestapo interrogation record.
It centres on Georg Elser, his view of Germany's development under Hitler and the dramatic course of his act. Elser was a carpenter who had himself locked into the Münchner Bürgerbräukeller for 30 nights and hollowed out a pillar of the gallery to install his device. Hitler and the leadership left the Bürgerbräukeller 13 minutes before the detonation.
Elser was stopped by a border guard 30 metres from the Swiss border. Moravek wrote the songs for the play, inspired by Elser's fate. Bernd Wengert provides the script, direction and acting, while Moravek contributes songs, guitar, zither and vocals.
The musicians are Tomáš Skřivánek (bass), Christian Krischkowsky (drums), Andrej Polanský (viola, mandolin, banjo), Wibke Becker (vocals, percussion) and Štěpán Vodenka (keyboards). Moravek's album with his band Electric Traveling Show was nominated for the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik.
It takes place on 8 November 2026 at 19:30 at Theaterhaus - T3, Siemensstraße 11, Stuttgart.
