Minetti Quartett at Konzertwerkstatt des Erlanger Musikinstitut

The Minetti Quartett performs on Saturday 17 April 2027 at 19:00 at the Konzertwerkstatt des Erlanger Musikinstitut e.V., Rathsberger Straße 1-3, 91054 Erlangen. Tickets start at 24.00 EUR, and a reduced price is available. The organiser is Erlanger Musikinstitut e.V., Rathsbergerstraße 1-3, 91054 Erlangen, Deutschland.

The programme lists J. Haydn: Streichquartett B-Dur, op. 76/4 "Sonnenaufgang", E. Schulhoff: Fünf Stücke für Streichquartett, and J. Brahms: Streichquartett B-Dur, op. 67.

The quartet comes from Vienna and is named after the actor Bernhard Minetti. Its programme combines Wiener Klassik, the modern style of the 1920s and a work of the Romantic period. Haydn's quartet takes its nickname from the melody played by the first violin over sustained chords in the first movement.

Schulhoff's Fünf Stücke take up the pulse of the 1920s with references to waltz, polka, tango and jazz. Brahms' third string quartet is marked by an unusually serene calm. For screen reader and keyboard users, the seating plan with fixed seats is not accessible; help with booking is available by calling the ticket hotline on 069 427262 680.
