schluma - Heulen am Wasser 2026 in Oldenburg

Schluma is a young indie band from Hamburg whose members met in 2023 in the context of an arts-oriented degree programme at a university. First demos were made as a duo, and the current line-up with Pola (guitar) and Linus (drums) formed in early 2024. In its founding year the band played its first concerts in a student environment and at smaller festivals in northern Germany.

Schluma's music sits somewhere between Indie-Rock, Lo-Fi-Pop and noisy 90s references. In 2025 came first bookings in established Hamburg clubs such as Molotow, Indra and Hafenklang, as well as first shows outside the city, including at the invitation of the label Kleine Untergrund Schallplatten in Augsburg and at shows in Bremen and Ostfriesland. In summer 2025 the label Grand Hotel van Cleef became aware of the band, first as part of a support for Amos the Kid, followed by an invitation to a showcase concert at the Hamburger Hafenklang.

After positive feedback from the label and audience, Schluma was officially signed in September 2025 as part of the Reeperbahn Festival. The band is currently working on recordings for its debut album.
