Sinfonic Rock Night 2026 - Team Spirit in Nordhorn

Sinfonic Rock Night 2026 - Team Spirit is held on Friday 27 November 2026 at 20:00 at Alte Weberei, Vechteaue 2, 48529 Nordhorn. The theme "Team Spirit" reflects the many sports practised in Nordhorn at various levels, with numerous sports clubs getting young people moving. This year's Sinfonic Rock Night aims to show that sport does not compete with making music, but is more of an interplay.

Music plays a part at the various openings of sports events, and plenty of songs reflect this in the stadiums. The programme includes titles such as "Summon the Heroes" (John Williams), "Auf uns" (Andreas Bourani) and "We Are the Champions" (Queen). The venue is the Kulturzentrum Alte Weberei in Nordhorn, just before the Dutch border.

Its spacious rooms are located in a former weaving complex that was used as a factory site by various textile companies until the 1970s. In the 1990s the Alte Weberei was converted into the town's socio-cultural centre.

Today the site offers a broad range of culture and events, including an art school, conference rooms, markets and fairs, and museum areas. Concerts, parties and cabaret events are regularly held there.
